Talitha Kum in Tunisia

Talitha Kum the biggest and first religious women network against human trafficking continues to extend its branches and strongly rooted in the world. After the Southern, Central and western of Africa; Talitha Kum has finally and definitely established in the Northern part of the continent. It has landed in Tunisia and it will try to extend and grow to the neighbouring countries (Morocco, Algeria).  Through training, collaboration, self-awareness, self-motivation, and relationships with others networking, we have been able to establish Talitha Kum network in Tunisia in 2018. This new network works in partnerships with others congregations, others associations and organisations in the country. In Tunisia where thousands of migrants are arriving every years, many of them have been trafficked mainly girls and forced to work as slaves. They are victims of human exploitation, sexual abuse, and racism. Having a coordinator in the national level, it will link up with others groups to fight against human trafficking especially migrants who have been trafficked from their various countries and to come and work illegally.
