Letter from Feith Murunga, Kenya
Dear survivors of human trafficking,
You are not defined by the darkness you have faced. Your courage in enduring such unimaginable challenges speaks volumes about your strength and resilience. Remember that you are not alone; there are many who stand with you in solidarity and support.
As an ambassador of hope, I want to remind you that your past does not dictate your future. Every day, you are taking steps toward healing and reclaiming your life. Your journey may be difficult, but it is filled with the possibility of transformation and renewal.
You are deserving of love, respect, and dignity. Your experiences may have caused deep wounds, but they do not diminish your worth as a human being. Your voice matters, and your story is powerful. Through sharing your experiences, you can inspire others and advocate for change.
There is hope beyond the pain. You have the strength within you to rebuild, to thrive, and to create a brighter tomorrow. Reach out for support, surround yourself with positivity, and never give up on your dreams.
You are a beacon of hope, and your resilience is a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity. Keep moving forward with courage and determination, knowing that brighter days lie ahead.
With love and solidarity,
Yoursfaithful
Feith Murunga, from Kenya
(Feith Murunga originally from Kenya and is currently volunteering under Global Justice Group. This group focuses on justice, truth, remedy, and accountability for victims of gross human rights violations and serious violations of humanitarian law. In the past, she collaborated with Talitha Kum International Kenya. Due to her own difficult experiences of being a victim of abuse, she started advocating and speaking out about human trafficking every day. Since then, she has been involved in various projects against human trafficking and modern slavery.)
